How is the cost of empty miles calculated?
Empty km per week × working weeks × cost per km: €0.85 for a van, €1.60 for a truck, €0.35 for a motorbike (fuel, wear, driving time).
How is recoverable revenue estimated?
Same kilometres × average billable price per km (€1.10 van, €1.90 truck, €0.90 motorbike) × a realistic 60% load factor.
